Son of a successful pair of ex professional figure-skaters, he was born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Russia, Soviet Union.
One of his hobbies seems to be delivering outstanding performances in movies such as Hearts in Atlantis (2001), Fierce People (2005), Alpha Dog (2006), Middle of Nowhere (2008), and Terminator Salvation (2009).
Besides acting, Anton enjoys reading, playing chess, writing music ,and also performs in a band playing the piano and the guitar.
