Let me start this post by saying I just love Greta Gerwig! I remember seeing her for the first time in Greenberg and wondering ‘Who is she?’. My curiosity wasn’t jumpy enough to look her up, until I saw her again in ‘To Rome with Love’, and then in ‘Lola Versus’. This last performance is the reason I’m writing this post, mainly because she’s absolutely great in it. Her mood swings and her accuracy when it comes to impersonating the contemporary woman are definitely convincing and delightful to watch.
Even when she plays small roles she manages to stand out.
Gerwig is not only an actress but also a screen writter, and she even debuted as a director in Nights and Weekends (2008).
As if that wasn’t enough, this 29 years old is great at styling. Greta embraces her femenine self flawlessly, wearing chic high-waist pieces, lace, skinny belts and fluid dresses.
Miss Gerwig is definitely a must-follow and a style icon in progress.

Me encanta Greta Gerwig! La primera vez que la vi fue como co-protagonista de Ben Stiler en Greenberg. Recuerdo que entonces me pregunté: “¿Quién es esta chica? ‘. Mi curiosidad no fue lo suficientemente impulsiva como para buscarla hasta que la volví a ver en “A Roma con Amor”, y luego en “Lola Versus”. Esta última interpretación es la razón por la que estoy escribiendo este post, sobre todo porque Greta se desenvuelve con un talento increíble en esta película. Su eficacia para mostrar cambios de humor y su veracidad cuando se trata de personificar a la mujer contemporánea son dos cualidades definitivamente convincentes que consagran sus actuaciones como una delicia para el espectador. Incluso en papeles pequeños logra destacarse.
Gerwig no sólo es actriz, sino que además es guionista, y debutó como directora en Noches y Fines de Semana (2008).
Como si todo esto fuera poco, el estilo personal de esta chica de 29 años es definitivamente un acierto. Greta luce su femenidad con evidente naturalidad, desplegando su encanto con piezas de corte a la cintura, texturas de encaje, cintos finos y vestidos chic que favorecen su silueta.
La Señorita Gerwig es definitivamente un talento en ascenso y una futura style icon.
